A hundred police officers intervened Monday in Montbéliard, Valentigney and Audincourt (Doubs) to initially arrest ten people aged 19 to 30, including two young women, said in a press release the territorial direction of the judicial police (PJ) of Dijon .
Seven suspects were finally indicted during the week by an investigating judge at the Montbéliard court, six of whom were imprisoned.
They are suspected of being linked to a vast drug trafficking and several episodes of gunfire that occurred in the urban area of Montbéliard last summer.

The police discovered a press for packaging narcotics at the home of one of the young women, as well as 3 kilos of heroin, 2.6 kilos of cutting products and 200 grams of cannabis. Five firearms, including four weapons of war, ammunition, 4,000 euros in cash and a car stolen in the Paris region were also seized during the searches.
