Opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu was exposed to a verified corona patient in the property, and went into solitary confinement, Likud spokeswoman announced tonight (Friday).

"On Wednesday, the head of the opposition held a fitness training session in the Knesset. After it became clear that the fitness coach had been verified for Corona, Netanyahu was asked by the Knesset officer to go into isolation," the statement said.

"The former prime minister is acting in accordance with the guidelines and is waiting for the results of the tests," they added.

The Likud's announcement comes days after it became known that one of the defense minister's staff members, Bnei Gantz, was diagnosed on Wednesday as positive for Corona.

Following this, Ganz went into isolation and performed corona tests that came up as negative.

In addition, it was reported on Monday that a person who was present on Prime Minister Naftali Bennett's flight back to Israel from the United Arab Emirates was diagnosed with vertebrate vertebrae.

Upon receiving the information, the Prime Minister's Office contacted the Ministry of Health for detailed instructions and Bennett went into isolation.
