The voting in the Legislative Council election is over. Among the electoral committees, which accounted for the most seats (40 seats), as the number of votes involved was the least, the result was the fastest.
This sector is considered to be "fighting against each other" within the establishment. 51 people competed for 40 seats. Which 11 candidates did not make it to the parliament?
The counting results showed that after Pakatan Harapan member Leung Mei-fun became a "vote" with 1,348 votes, Sheng Zhiwen, the "father of Lan Kwai Fong," was very popular, with only 955 votes ranked 43, together with former news coordinator Feng Weiguang and the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference. Commissioner Tu Haiming and other 11 people were eliminated. The registered electrician Diao Shenghong got the lowest vote, with only 342 votes.
Many scholars, corporate executives, and people with mainland backgrounds have successfully entered the parliament, including Li Haoran, Chief Strategy Officer of China Resources Group's Greater Bay Area, Liu Zhipeng, Vice President of Lingnan University, and Chen Shaoxiong, President of China Power Group.
Nine incumbent members moved to the electoral committee and all were successfully re-elected, including the DAB Ge Peifan and Zhang Guojun, the Economic Democrats Liang Meifen, the New Democratic Party Rong Haien, the Federation of Trade Unions Lu Songxiong and Mai Meijuan, independent Ma Fengguo, Xie Weijun and He Junyao, Chen Kaixin Also successfully returned to parliament.

The elections of the electoral committee are based on unanimous votes, and the top 40 candidates won.
The Returning Officer at the counting of the votes announced the preliminary results via broadcast at about 1:30 am.
Starting from 41, the losers were Wu Hongwei, Huang Ziqian, Sheng Zhiwen, Chen Kairong, Zeng Yingyi, Sun Weiyong, Tu Haiming, Cai Yongqiang, Feng Weiguang, Lu Weisi, and Diao Shenghong.
