Then the choir of the Good Shepherd from Lattakia transferred the audience to the global Christmas songs distributed hormonally to four voices, in addition to a group of his own chants and hymns, to conclude the ceremony with joint singing of a number of eastern and western chants.

Elias Samaan, conductor and trainer of the choir of the Good Shepherd, explained that this celebration came with musical accompaniment from the Mosaic Ensemble, which brought together young men and women of the choir in an experiment that combined monophonic oriental singing with polyphonic singing, which requires a lot of skills and high musical culture, noting the importance of these participatory experiences because of the richness they add. On the musical front.

Father Ishaq Sawan, coach and conductor of the choir of Saint Elian Al-Homsi, explained that this celebration is known for the diverse musical styles specific to each governorate, and this creates an exchange of experiences and enriches our musical knowledge, hoping that there will be a permanent meeting with choirs from all the governorates and that peace will prevail in Syria and that joy and smiles return to faces The Syrians are as promised.

For his part, the Metropolitan Diocese of Latakia and its Greek Orthodox Dependencies, Athanasius Fahd, said that the Christmas celebrations that pervade our country, Syria, are not alien to a country that embraced the birth of Christ and from it came Christianity to all the world, considering that the message of the Syrians today is that our hearts will not sleep until peace comes to our country and we distance all from us. Who brought war and destruction.

Fahd pointed out that the celebration embodies the joy of life and the joy of Christmas in our country, which means all Syrians with the diversity of their components, because Syria embraces all its children with their holidays, joys and culture, and it will remain the Christmas star that overflows with light, love and peace to the whole world.
