The Safar Musical Ensemble has arrived in Damascus today to present its second concert, which was hosted by Khan Asaad Pasha, in a festive atmosphere of Christmas.
Safar, led by the artist Shadi Al-Safadi, presented, over the course of two hours, a synthesis of old and modern songs, which she started with a song from the movie Borders by the great artist Duraid Lahham. Emotional and new for the band.
In a statement to SANA reporter, Shadi Al-Safadi said that his band started since 1999, and during this period, it presented many of its own songs, in addition to focusing on old and heritage songs.
Al-Safadi, who entered the world of art through the gateway to drama, sees no objection to combining music with his primary talent for acting, as long as the goal is to make people happy and provide quality content.
The Safar group consists of Shadi Al-Safadi (vocals and guitar), Wafi Al-Abbas (oud), Imad Mihoub (guitar), Iyad Baridi (drums), Mudar Jammoul (keyboard), Muhannad Nassar (bass guitar).
