Report in Thailand: The detained Israeli was taken to a police station in Bangkok
Ohad Baruch, who was arrested on Cosmoi Island after being released from solitary confinement before his PCR test result was received, was reportedly released from solitary confinement after three negative corona tests and taken to a police station.
In Thailand, they insist that despite the borderline result in the first test, Baruch did indeed apply to Corona - and even to Omicron

Israeli Ohad Baruch, who was arrested on the island of Kosmoy on Tuesday (Wednesday) after leaving isolation upon landing in Bangkok, has not yet received the result of his PCR test, was released from isolation and transferred from a hospital on the island to a police station in the capital Bangkok. Baron was released from solitary confinement shortly after a third corona test returned negative. The result was even sent by the authorities for testing in another district, to be sure of the result.
The Bangkok Post website quoted a hospital spokesman as saying that Ohad Baruch was released after "fully recovered and can no longer spread the disease". A hospital spokesman added that the first positive result obtained in Bangkok "showed a small amount of corona virus". It was also reported that four people who were with Baruch in close contact on the island were also tested and came out negative.
In Thailand it is insisted that despite the borderline result in the first test, Baruch did indeed apply in Corona. The Thai newspaper HaUma even reported tonight that it had become clear that Baruch had contracted the omicron variant,And not Delta as previously reported.

The report of Baruch's release from solitary confinement is not known to the Israeli Foreign Ministry, and the Israeli community in Bangkok even said earlier today that he is currently in solitary confinement at a makeshift facility in Kosmoy, which was a boxing training complex converted to asymptomatic isolation.
When Baruch arrives at the Bangkok police station, he is expected to be officially charged with breaching the isolation.
This is despite the fact that he claims that he did not know at all about the installation, which requires waiting for the results.
An arrest warrant against him for violating emergency regulations to prevent the spread of the corona was issued earlier this week in a court in the city’s southern quarter, in parallel with searches for him.
The maximum penalty for the offense is two years in prison or 40,000 baht (about NIS 3,750).
