The isolation period is currently 10 days for patients, counting from a positive test or the appearance of symptoms and 7 days for "contact cases", with some exceptions: people with a vaccination schedule complete are only affected if the Omicron variant is detected;
contacts living under the same roof as patients must self-isolate for 17 days.
The government has also ruled out dreaded curfews for New Year's Eve on December 31 and postponing the start of the school year scheduled for January 3.
