A 21-year-old man died on the evening of December 25 after being shot in the head in Saint-Herblain (Loire-Atlantique), the Nantes public prosecutor confirmed on Monday December 27 to several media including AFP.

The circumstances of this death remain to be established,
" said Renaud Gaudeul.

According to information from Presse-Océan, the victim, originally from Châteaubriant (Loire-Atlantique), died shortly after being transported to the Nantes University Hospital.
An investigation has been opened for intentional homicide.
