The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Dr. Faisal Al-Miqdad, said that the terrorist organization Al-Nusra Front is still spreading in northwest Syria with Turkish support, and ISIS organization in the northeast with US support.
In an interview with Al-Souria and Al-Ikhbariya channels, Miqdad affirmed that Syria has made great achievements in the war on terrorism, and it will continue in it until its final elimination.
Minister Al-Miqdad indicated that the status of more than 30,000 people in the governorates of Daraa and Deir ez-Zor have been settled and they have returned to their normal lives.
With regard to the committee to discuss the constitution, Miqdad said, “Syria deals positively with the committee to discuss the constitution... and its problem is not with the UN envoy or the organization itself, but with those who sent tens of thousands of terrorists to it and spent billions of dollars to destroy it.”
Minister Miqdad added that when the enemies of Syria failed to achieve their goals through terrorism and murder, they resorted to obstructing the political solution because they did not want the stability of the situation there.
