The cold weather warning is now in effect.
A strong winter monsoon is bringing cold weather to southern China.
The Observatory predicts that the area of Hong Kong will be generally cloudy today, with one or two rain patches at first, cold mornings and short periods of sunshine during the day.
The highest temperature is about 17 degrees, and the blowing is gentle to the fresh north to northeast wind.
