At the end of another day in the eighth round of nuclear talks in the Austrian capital, no breakthrough was recorded in contacts between the powers and the Islamic Republic of Iran, but Tehran claims that the ball is in the court of the powers.
Iranian Foreign Minister Amir Abdullahian tweeted on Thursday that "talks are moving in the right direction."
He said, "Iran's ideas have brought the talks back on track in a constructive atmosphere."
He stressed that "now the Western side must show good faith and commitment to a good agreement."
The unofficial target for reaching an agreement or points of agreement on key issues is early February.

The most significant event of the past day was the arrival of South Korean Deputy Foreign Minister Choi Yong Saul from Seoul to discuss "frozen" $ 7 billion worth of Iranian assets that have been in the Asian country since the US withdrew from the 2018 agreement.
Also, according to the local news agency Yonhap, the diplomat from Seoul flew to the Austrian capital "to meet with the negotiators".
