Prime Minister Boris Johnson had to face the House of Commons on Monday and apologize for the scandal known as "partygate", but also stressed that they can still trust their government.
"We ask people across the country to make the most extraordinary sacrifices and I understand the anger that people feel," were part of the words that Johnson enunciated in his speech after presenting the initial report on these social gatherings that occurred in the middle of the pandemic.
At the time, the entire UK was under strict Covid-19 restrictions issued by the Johnson government itself.
