In the midst of a political turmoil that shakes his government, the president of Peru, Pedro Castillo, swore in his new ministers on Tuesday.
The reorganization of his cabinet, the third in just six months in power, occurs after the resignation of several high-profile figures such as Interior Minister Avelino Guillén;
the president of the Council of Ministers, Mirtha Vásquez;
the secretary of the presidency, Carlos Jaico and the minister of Economy and Finance, Pedro Francke.
