London-Sana

A number of prominent aides to British Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced their resignations, against the backdrop of holding entertainment parties during the period of imposing a comprehensive closure and restrictions to confront the Corona virus.

And the British ruling Conservative Party website stated that Jelena Naruzansky, political affairs adviser in the Prime Minister's Office, became the fifth assistant to leave his position during the past 24 hours, against the background of the scandal, with multiple calls for his departure.

Prior to Naruzansky, Chief Policy Officer Munira Mirza, Chief Communications Officer Jack Doyle, Chief Officer Dan Rosenfeld and Senior Officer Martin Reynolds resigned from Johnson's team, respectively.

The BBC pointed out that three of these prominent aides had previously attended the aforementioned parties and had coordinated their resignations, but the departure of Mirza, who had been a close ally of Johnson for 14 years, was surprising and came in protest of Johnson's false claim against the head of the BNP. British Labor Opposition Keir Starmer.

The resignations come at a time when 12 Conservative MPs have publicly called on Johnson to leave and seven of them confirmed that they had sent official letters of no confidence in their party leader.
