Within the performances of the Youth Support Project, the National House of Books Theater in Aleppo hosted the theatrical work 360 percent, written and directed by Muhammad Mulki.
The show comes within the plan of the Ministry of Culture and the Directorate of Theaters and Music to support young people and present their talents on stage.
Mulki explained that his work falls under the name of diodrama, as it contains two characters and embodies the artist’s suffering in his home, with his wife and family, and the circumstances he is going through to reach his goal and achieve success and fame, noting that the presentation’s statement speaks of the need to honor the artist while he is at the height of his bids, and that the artwork provides him with means of livelihood. Young actress, Rona Haidar, stated that her role talks about the conflict between her and her husband, who seeks to achieve success, while she is looking for collecting money and depicting the contradictions that occur between the spouses, stressing the importance of presenting such presentations that revolve around realistic stories and shed light on the person and his concerns.
Mohamed Hegazy, Director of the National Theater and Director of the National Library, indicated that these shows provide a space for young people to showcase their talents, competencies and creativity in the field of theater directing and acting, explaining that 10 shows will be presented to support young people and work to attract them to present their capabilities and prove their presence on the stage.
