After a long silence, the creator of the song Westernhagen has now made a statement.

Music greats support the campaign.

Now it seems enough for the 73-year-old musician.

Singer Marius Müller-Westernhagen (73) has published a photo on his Instagram profile that shows him vaccinating – he wrote the word “freedom”.

This is also the title of his cult song from 1987. His fans rated this action on Friday as a statement in the vaccination debate - and as a defense of his music from opponents of the Corona measures.

So far, Westerhagen has always been silent about the use and reinterpretation of his song.
