Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations Dmitriy Polyansky called on his American counterpart to draw attention to the bombings of the city of Donetsk by Ukrainian forces.
"While the West continues to fuss about alleged Russian plans to attack Ukraine, the Ukrainian army publicly continues its routine bombing of residential areas, killing and maiming civilians in brazen violation of the Minsk agreements... Where did the American permanent representative to the United States respond," Polyansky said on his Twitter account today.
Polyansky attached his tweet with a picture showing plumes of smoke rising from the outskirts of Donetsk city after it was bombed using mortar shells by Ukrainian forces.
The United States of America and its allies in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization are continuing media campaigns claiming that Russia is amassing its forces on Ukraine's borders, which Moscow strongly denies and stresses the need to stop Western hysteria and spread false information and allegations in this regard.
