A new study published yesterday (Friday) by the National Bureau of Statistics in the UK reveals that the risk of being vaccinated with three doses of corona virus is 93% lower than those who have not been vaccinated at all.
According to the study, those who received only two doses still enjoyed a significant drop in risk: a decrease of 81.2 percent compared to the unvaccinated at all.
This means that for unvaccinated populations, the death rate was 462.2 per 100,000, compared with 33.1 per 100,000 for the fully vaccinated group in the three weeks after the third vaccination (and in the long run this number dropped to as much as 24.5 per 100,000).
Also, for the partially vaccinated (i.e. only one or two doses), there was still a lower risk of dying compared to the unvaccinated: 377.7 per 100,000 for the vaccinated in one dose, and 367.7 per 100,000 for the vaccinated in two doses.
However, the researchers stressed that this study does not measure the effectiveness of the vaccine but only the match between the vaccine groups and their risk of dying from the corona virus.
Also, the researchers did not address the vaccine's ability to cope with infection.
The study was conducted in England between July and December 2021.
