In a long video uploaded today (Tuesday) by Yehudit Bauman, she is seen sitting on the sofa in her house, her eyes tired and it is obvious that she is exhausted.
As you may recall, Judith's daughter, Karin, has been battling severe anorexia for more than a decade when her health recently worsened, leading her mother and partner, singer Shimi Tavori, to a decision to raise funds to allow Karin to fly abroad to be treated in a special eating disorder ward.
Yehudit makes sure to update the thousands of surfers who have opened their hearts and pockets in an attempt to donate enough money to enable the treatment, and even today she tried to provide as up-to-date a picture as she could.
In the video she uploaded, she shared with surfers that Karin returned home from hospital in Ichilov yesterday, but unfortunately despite the campaign to raise donations and the two's joint campaign for the Knesset to raise awareness for the treatment of severe eating disorder, she can not yet fly Karin abroad for treatment.
Bauman shared almost for the first time the health difficulties she is also struggling with which have worsened in recent years.
"I have diabetes and also suffer from mild heart failure," she shared with surfers, adding that despite all her pain she does not let it affect Karin and continues to treat her even as she groans from her pain and is exhausted.
She went on to note how many of the words "lioness" and "warrior" are repeated in the context of Karin's dedicated care, but she notes that lioness also has falls of fatigue and thoughts.
She also shared her fear of what would happen to Mapa and the fear of a setback in Karin's condition if she could not get the treatment she so desperately needed.
"I do not want to go back to the place all the low we were in," she said.
"I feel like I need to own an entire building that will not fall on me."
