Today, the Activities Hall in Dar al-Assad in Lattakia hosted a poetry meeting for three poets whose poems varied between patriotism, sentimental and lyrical.
The poet Wafaa Dalla, who came from the city of Salamiyah, participated in several poems that varied between sentimental, patriotic and humanitarian. “The Epic of Tears” dealt with Syria’s sufferings during the war and the pain and sorrow that followed.
The participation of the poet Jaber Sadiq came with four poems, the first entitled “Loss”, in which a call to the sons of Syria to rebuild the homeland, and a second poem entitled “To the life partner who is the wife and mother as bearing the greatest concern in building the family.” In addition to two poems, the first entitled “What will I write?” A sentimental text mimicking a poem simulating Malik bin al-Rib in the lamentation of the soul.
The poet Majd Yassin read a poem entitled Delirium revolving around anxiety that afflicted the poet while he was conversing with his lover, and another poem entitled Passion revolving around the mother, the homeland and the beloved through a group of obsessions that haunted a soldier while he was on the battlefronts between his longing for his family and his rush to repel evil from his land.
