Five people were injured in an explosion that took place this evening (Wednesday) in a banquet hall in Bnei Brak, after an explosive device was thrown at the scene.

The condition of two of the wounded is defined as moderate, the other three wounded are in a light condition.

Circumstances of the incident under investigation.

Paramedics and paramedics from Magen David Adom who arrived at the scene provided medical treatment, and evacuated three wounded to the hospital: a 22-year-old man in moderate condition with an abdominal injury was taken to Beilinson Hospital, a 20-year-old man was taken to Sheba Tel Hashomer Hospital and another person was injured. Easy, goes to Ichilov Hospital with an injury to his limbs.

Two other wounded, whose condition was defined as light, were also evacuated.

Guy Arazi, an MDA paramedic who arrived at the scene of the incident, said: “When we arrived at the scene, there was a lot of commotion on the nearby street and inside the hall.

Entering the hall, we saw three young men in their 20s fully conscious and suffering from upper body injuries.

"In parallel with the scan, we provided them with medical treatment that included bandages and stopped bleeding, and we evacuated them to the hospitals when their condition was moderate and mild."
