With less than nine weeks to go before the first round of the Queen's election, the pieces of the presidential puzzle are slowly falling into place.

If we believed that the war of rallies was the prerogative of the “national camp”, the news of the day could well prove us the opposite.

The announcement of Eric Woerth's support for the outgoing president had the effect of a small explosion among the Republicans.

Shocks reinforced by the alert rating reached by Valérie Pécresse in the voting intentions (15% in the Ifop study of the day) but also by the Chinese torture that Nicolas Sarkozy inflicts on his camp.

In private, the former President of the Republic takes a stern look at the right-wing candidate and casts doubt on his choice.
