South Korea has set a new record for the number of coronavirus infections exceeding 50,000 amid the rapid spread of the Omicron strain.
And Yonhap quoted the Korean Agency for Disease Control and Prevention today, "The country has evacuated 49,567 new cases of the virus, bringing the total number of infections to one million and 842,131, while the total deaths reached 3,496 after recording 12 new deaths."
