A forty-year-old was stabbed to death overnight from Tuesday February 8 to Wednesday in Tours and two people were arrested, the city prosecutor's office said on Wednesday February 9.

A 44-year-old man was fatally stabbed this Wednesday, February 9 around 1:45 a.m. in Tours
," said Tours public prosecutor Grégoire Dulin.
“
Two people were arrested and taken into custody for murder
,” the magistrate told AFP.
The victim was stabbed following a dispute that broke out on the public highway, near the Bretonneau hospital, not far from the city center.
