DSDS 2022: Toby Gad awards his golden CD!

Florian Silbereisen awarded his "Golden CD", which is equivalent to a direct ticket to the foreign recall, in episode 1. Now DSDS juror Toby Gad is following suit.

Wernigerode – Right at the start of the first episode, jury member Florian Silbereisen awarded the Golden CD, which is coveted by the DSDS candidates.

It went straight to the start of season 19 - without Dieter Bohlen - to 17-year-old Abigail*, who impressed with her performance.

Silbereisen knelt down in front of Abigail with the CD and then said: "I awarded an incredibly good golden CD."

Each jury member* can award one of the golden sound carriers to a participant of "Deutschland sucht den Superstar"* in the casting.

Anyone who is presented with this can skip the hard screening in the next round, the recall.

Instead, it goes straight to the foreign recall to Italy, in which only 25 participants are allowed to fly.

Now Toby Gad followed and also awarded his direct ticket to a candidate.

The lucky one is 18-year-old Emine Knapczyk from Berlin.

"Wow.

I've been waiting for this.

A voice like yours,” Toby praised the talented youngster.

"I could now hear ten more songs from you," said the musician and takes out his golden CD.

Emine could hardly believe it and jumped around wildly - she was at a loss for words.

DSDS 2022: Emine Knapczyk convinced with her song "Creep"

Born in Poland, Knapczyk is currently training as a hotel specialist and would like to take a step on the show stage with DSDS.

In addition to her show talent, the DSDS candidate also has some dance moves ready: she has already tried ballet, flamenco and figure skating.

Their song "Creep" by Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox feat.

Haley Reinhart finally ripped music producer Toby Gad off his stool so much that he immediately pulled out the mini trophy.

"She blew my mind and I thought: It doesn't get any better.

I just had to give her my golden CD,” explains the music producer.

Who will the third member of the jury, Ilse De Lange, give her CD to?

In any case, a candidate recently had to leave the format: he hid his suspended sentence*.
