Irish activist Edward Horgan, a university professor and former officer in the Irish forces, stressed that the unilateral coercive measures imposed by the United States of America and the West on Syria, Cuba and some other countries should be considered a described aggression, pointing out that its repercussions are devastating and affect civilians, including children and women.
Horgan, who worked in several United Nations military missions in the world, pointed out during an article published in the Czech newspaper “Halo Novini” today that the United States, along with its allies and NATO, has carried out many aggressive wars since the end of World War II, which represented a clear violation of the law. He stressed that all these aggressive wars were illegitimate and tragic in accordance with international law, including the occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq and the aggression against Libya and Serbia.
Horgan stressed that since the end of World War II, NATO has become the biggest threat to international peace, pointing out that the United States and the alliance countries that are countries in the European Union also use diplomatic and economic pressure to force neutral countries in Europe to abandon their neutrality.
