Suspicion of a car bomb attack in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in East Jerusalem.
MDA reported that at midnight a report was received at the organization's call center about a pedestrian who was hit by a vehicle near Kirma Square.
According to an MDA statement, another 20-year-old man was evacuated from the scene in a light condition with a head injury after being hit by a stone.
A statement issued by the police after the incident stated that "in the last few hours there has been a disturbance that included stone-throwing and clashes in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood. As a result, a person who was seeking medical treatment was injured.
"The police forces repelled the riots, after they did not heed the police warnings and the dispersal order given at the scene by a police officer. Meanwhile, the police were forced to use means to disperse the disturbances."
The police said in a statement that they had received a report "about a vehicle that hit one of those involved in the area and the circumstances of the case in the investigation.
