Today, Canadian police arrested a number of protesters who reject the restrictions imposed to limit the spread of the Corona virus and mandatory vaccination at a major crossing between Canada and the United States, whose closure caused damage to the economies of the two countries.

The Associated Press reported that the Canadian city of Windsor police arrested several demonstrators and removed seven trucks from the border crossing, which witnesses 25 percent of the total trade between the two countries, noting that the date for reopening the crossing again has not been announced.

A Canadian judge in Ontario yesterday ordered an end to the blockade of the Ambassador Bridge, but despite the decision, hundreds of protesters remained massed near the bridge's entrance on the Canadian side.

With the bridge closed, car factories on both sides have been forced to shut down or reduce production at a time when the industry is already struggling to maintain production in the face of shortages caused by the Corona pandemic.

As for the Canadian capital, Ottawa, the number of demonstrators increased, rejecting the health restrictions related to the Corona virus, which prompted the Canadian national and local police to form a joint command center in the capital to end the protests and remove truck convoys that paralyzed the city.

According to the latest data, the number of coronavirus infections in Canada has reached three million and 187,186, while the total number of deaths has reached 35,439.
