European concern about the violations of the occupation in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood

The European Union expressed its concern over the continuous violations of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians in the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood of the occupied city of Jerusalem.

The union stressed in a statement today, carried by the Palestinian Wafa Agency, that "settler violence and irresponsible provocations, in addition to other escalatory measures in this sensitive area, must stop immediately."

Earlier today, the Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the continuous barbaric attacks of the occupation against the Palestinians in Jerusalem, their sanctities, their land and property, the most recent of which was the storming of dozens of settlers in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood under the protection of the occupation forces, in flagrant violation of international law.
