The criminal assassination in the heart of Ashkelon:

Avi Bitton, a senior member of the criminal organization of Shalom Domrani, was killed in an explosion that occurred last night (Sunday to Monday) in Ashkelon.

Two other people were seriously injured in the incident.

The police do not yet know who is responsible for the assassination, but yesterday's explosion indicates that the wars of the criminal organizations in the south have escalated.

Suspicion of criminal assassination in Ashkelon: killed and three injured in a car explosion

Earlier this month, a car exploded near Ashkelon, in Beit Shikma, but a connection between the two incidents has not yet been proven, according to the police.

These events join the mysterious explosion last Saturday night, on Avia Hashofet Street in Be'er Sheva, on which a restraining order was imposed.

Bitton belonged to Shalom Domrani's criminal organization, and was even one of the senior members of the organization.

He survived a similar assassination attempt 8 years ago, in an explosion in which he lost his leg and during which his friend Jackie Benita was killed.

The current assassination occurred several months after the release of the offender Shalom Domrani from prison.
