His fourth meeting with the date from Tinder was conducted by Max Sylvie (25) from Australia, with Alyssa Hodges (20) - in the delivery room.
This is because the acquaintance between them began when Alyssa was already in the sixth month of her pregnancy and since then the relationship between the two has deepened, to the amazement of the couple's two families.
"I did not want to cheat anyone, so I wrote on Tinder explicitly that I was six months pregnant," says Alyssa.
Max still agreed to meet, but since he is a civil servant who flew a lot the two managed to meet only three times.
"At the fourth appointment I had to pick him up from the airport after he got back from a flight, but I had just run out of water, so I informed him I was going to give birth and that he would meet with me at the hospital," she adds.
Max did not run away as soon as he realized that his date was giving birth, but went straight to the hospital.
He not only helped Alyssa in childbirth, but increased to do and took a week off because there was no one to help her with the newborn.
"I had a special feeling about Alyssa," says Max.
"I usually don't slide right on Tinder when I see a pregnant woman, but in her case I did. The birth was amazing too. I was worried but it was an overwhelming experience. Now I'm learning how to be a dad," says Max, who plans to be the father of The newborn.
Alyssa, for her part, says the choice of Max has proven itself very much despite her family's doubts.
"My mother really hesitated and asked 'what is he doing with you in the delivery room? What if he leaves later?', She could not understand why anyone would want to be with a pregnant woman, so she advised me to be careful and not to bond immediately, although she also told me "Max is a cool guy."
Alyssa concluded by saying that "the fact that Max was present at the birth of maybe the baby, strengthened the bond between us. He already plays a significant role in the life of maybe the baby, and his very presence even then at birth, created a strong bond."
