Paisley Schultis, a six-year-old girl from New York who has been missing for two years, was found alive by police forces, under a staircase in the Hudson Valley Sugartz.
According to the suspect, the girl was taken by her parents, who have no legal custody of her - and was hidden for about three years in a "small, cold and wet" room, under the steps of her grandmother's house by her mother.
The girl was defined as missing from the house where she lived about three years ago, and following information that reached the police, a search warrant was issued at her grandfather's home.
When police arrived at his home, he denied seeing him since 2019, and only an hour after the search began - police noticed a basement under the staircase, which through a slot that had a euro with a flashlight.
When officers opened the basement door, they discovered the girl with terror inside a cubicle.
As mentioned, Faisley's finding is part of a saga in which her biological parents lost custody of her and her older sister who were transferred to adoptive parents who lived in the city of Kayuga Heights.
Paramedics who examined the girl after a bargain confirmed that she was in good health and she was returned to the care of the adoptive parents in whose home Paisley's older sister lived.
The biological parents Kimberly Cooper (33) and Kirk Shultis Jr. (32) as well as Grandpa Kirk Shultis Sr. (57), have been arrested by police and will be charged with Paisley kidnapping.
