But for France, an industrialized country that spends and consumes more than others, overshoot day falls in May, the month of the next president's inauguration!

In the coming days, the WWF France teams should announce what the date will be for 2022 but also for 2027. And unsurprisingly, like every year since this concept has existed, this day falls a little earlier in the calendar!
