Dozens of Palestinians participated this evening in a solidarity stand in the city of Jenin in the West Bank in support of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli detention.
And the Palestinian Wafa Agency stated that the participants in the sit-in tent that had been erected four months ago in the city of Jenin called on all human rights and humanitarian institutions and the International Committee of the Red Cross to take their role and pressure the occupation authorities to hand over the bodies of the martyrs detained with them and to work for the release of all prisoners, especially the sick among them. Their head is the prisoner Nasser Abu Hamid, who has cancer.
The number of Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails is about five thousand, including 550 prisoners who need urgent medical intervention due to the harsh conditions of detention they are experiencing.
