AuerVoices: Prominent choir joins Musikverein Nandlstadt

The Musikverein Nandlstadt has a prominent addition: now the AuerVoices are part of the association as a choir ensemble.

The AuerVoices are celebrating their tenth anniversary this September and have been enriching the cultural landscape in the Hallertau for almost ten years.
The AuerVoices repertoire ranges from pop and rock songs to jazz and hip-hop.
The a cappella versions that AuerVoices perform at their concerts or via their music videos created during Corona are particularly impressive.
The enthusiasm for the music is not only transmitted to the singers of AuerVoices and their concert visitors here on site: In 2020 the ensemble won the choir competition of the Bavarian Radio and were also one of four Bavarian choirs for a report on Bavarian television requested (expected to be broadcast in spring 2022).
Auer Voices with a new home
The new home of AuerVoices is now the old school gym in Nandlstadt.
Since the beginning of 2021, a large piece of cultural home for music has been created there by providing and setting up rehearsal rooms and technology.
In particular, the musical range, the reach of the numerous ensembles and the good rehearsal conditions persuaded the AuerVoices to join the Musikverein Nandlstadt - they have been a member since January 1, 2022.

Thomas Häßler, chairman of the Musikverein Nandlstadt, is not only happy about the prominent addition, but also Stefan Hofstetter, choir director of the Auer Voices.
Hofstetter says about the move to Nandlstadt: “After many years of rehearsal room hopping, in which we rehearsed somewhere else almost every week, we are happy to have a long-term solution.
That's good for the choir, good for the music and good for the region!” But one shouldn't forget that “the AuerVoices wouldn't exist without the Liedertafel Au.
Therefore, a very special thank you goes to the Liedertafel Au for their support over the almost ten years of our existence.” Even if the AuerVoices are now rehearsing as a new choir in the Musikverein Nandlstadt, they will always be on friendly terms with the Liedertafel Au.
