He also believes that the traditional inactivation technology used by Sinovac vaccines is very safe. At present, children under the age of 12 have been vaccinated by more than 100 million doses of Sinovac vaccines in various countries, and no safety problems have been found.

The study was jointly led by Prof. Liu Yulong, Prof. Pei Wei from the School of Public Health, University of Hong Kong, and Prof. Tu Wenwei from the Department of Paediatrics of the University of Hong Kong.
