Thousands of students from all over the country study at the Netanya Academic College thanks to a unique combination of undergraduate and graduate degrees that provide knowledge and practical experience, renowned lecturers and a homely atmosphere • Thanks to this, the academic home has never been so close

There is one way to know how much studying at the academic institution contributes to the students, how much the lecturers are attentive to them and how much they enjoy the campus - talk to the students and graduates.

Then we met Avraham Yavnieli, a bachelor's and master's graduate in business administration in the Arrow track at Netanya Academic College, and heard from him about the lecturers, who rallied to his success and helped him open the doors to the labor market.

"All the lecturers give the students personal treatment, academic support and guidance," says Yavnieli, a resident of Kiryat Motzkin. Customized and diverse, I was able to work as a marketing manager while still in school. "

"The comfort, interest and satisfaction were very significant, so it was clear to me that I was continuing with the Arrow program for graduate studies."

He further adds that although he has graduated, he continues to maintain contact with the college, which is a home for him and thanks to being a practitioner, gets to accompany students.

'Accompanying students at the beginning of their journey is very significant and it is important for me to be there for them and give them an experience similar to the one I experienced.

An experience for which I was appointed upon graduation to serve as a property and planner in one of the largest high-tech companies in the economy. "

Indeed, Yavnieli's story is not accidental, as Prof. Ben-Zion Zilberfarb, Dean of the College's School of Business Administration, describes to us.

"The school places emphasis on acquiring up - to - date and practical knowledge tailored to the dynamic business market and developments in the global economy."

He adds that "what sets the school apart is that the entire teaching staff combines broad and up-to-date academic knowledge with practical experience in the field. In this way, the student enjoys a unique connection between theoretical and practical training and prepares it optimally for the labor market."

Those who apply for a wide variety of study tracks from the pre-academic preparatory stage to the end of their master's degree and even a thesis can find it at the Netanya Academic College, where they also cultivate unique and exclusive degrees.

Such is the dual degree in business administration and communications, which was started this year by 24-year-old Mai Kitevsky, a track student and resident of Bat Hefer who comes from the world of sports.

"I was looking for the college closest to me and I was very fascinated by the combination of a two-degree degree. Although I am basically a humane type, I decided to test my abilities in economics and was pleasantly surprised - I have good grades and I definitely understand the choice to combine two such important fields."

According to her, during the degree she was exposed alongside the business world, also to the worlds of marketing, television and radio.

"The studies are very practical," she says.

"We not only study theories, but experiment in every lesson. As part of a radio course, for example, we produced a program on the college's radio station."

Another experiment was done as part of the "Video Revolution" course.

"We were asked to make an image film about a body close to our hearts. We chose to produce a video about the National Sea Turtle Rescue Center in Mikhmoret. It was an interesting and challenging experience and mostly taught me a lot about what to expect if I entered the field."

Another student we met is 24-year-old Rebecca Ernie, an undergraduate student in banking and the capital market, who examined a variety of degrees, but on the open day realized what is really needed today in the job market and how much a degree in banking and capital market can propel her forward.

"In each lesson, you feel that the material is connected to what is happening in the field, all thanks to the fact that the lecturers hold senior positions in the field, such as Prof. Yosef Mualem, who owns a mortgage company, and Ziv Barak, who is a director at an investment house," says Ernie.

"Not only do they help us understand what is in demand in the market - they also help us get accepted into relevant jobs."

As a resident of Netanya, Ernie can attest to how much the college embraces the residents of the city, who have just been informed of a 20% discount on the undergraduate tuition fee in addition to the 7.5% resident scholarship provided by the municipality.

"When you study in such a family atmosphere, which is constantly aimed at the next stage of your career, helping you and enveloping you from all directions, you know you are in good hands."
