Iranian government spokesman Ali Bahadri Jahromi stressed today the need to adopt dialogue and diplomacy to end the Ukrainian crisis.
Jahromi said in his account on Twitter today that security concerns about the increasingly provocative process of NATO's expansion to the east are understandable to all independent countries that oppose US hegemony, pointing out that adherence to international and humanitarian law and reliance on dialogue and diplomacy are necessary to end the conflict.
And the Russian presidential spokesman, Dmitry Peskov, confirmed earlier that Russian President Vladimir Putin had ordered the suspension of the special military operation in Donbass, pending the start of talks with Kiev, but the operation was resumed after the latter refused it.
