A Ramla resident in his 20s was arrested tonight (Sunday) following a stabbing incident that took place yesterday, during which a 21-year-old Bat Yam resident was stabbed to death.
Police in the Central District's anti-crime unit collected findings at the murder scene and its surroundings, following which the suspect was arrested and hiding in a shelter in the city.
The suspect, a resident of Ramla in his 20s, was arrested for questioning and imprisoned, when the police intend to bring him to the Rishon Lezion Magistrate's Court tomorrow for a request to extend his detention, according to the needs of the investigation and its findings.
