New York, SANA- Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations Vasily Nebenzia affirmed that the Russian army is not targeting the tide

New York-Sana

Russia's Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vasily Nebenzia, stressed that the Russian army does not target civilians or infrastructure in Ukraine, as the Western propaganda machine is common, explaining that the population of Ukraine is threatened by the indiscriminate distribution of weapons by the extremist authorities to criminals and thieves who have been deliberately released from prisons.

In a speech during a session of the UN Security Council today, Nebenzia said that the extremist nationalists place heavy artillery in residential areas and use air defenses among the buildings, stressing that the Russian army does not target hospitals and schools and does not threaten the lives of civilians, because the real threat they face comes from the taking of the population by these nationalist extremists. Hostages hide behind and use as human shields.

Nebenzia pointed out that social networks are expert in publishing such fabricated and untrue news, with thousands of them being circulated.

Nebenzia indicated that the crisis did not start at the start of the Russian military operation, but rather 8 years ago, when the West did not pay attention to Russia's security concerns and did not try to settle the situation in Ukraine within the Security Council, stressing that the attempt to bypass Russia's position and ignore it contradicts the Charter of the United Nations.
