18 years marked a career rich in medals and local and foreign championships for the physical strength player Ghiath Qashkash, who started his sports career since 2004.
Ghiath, 33 years old, started his sports career under the supervision of coach Othman Hajo, one of the champions of physical strength in Syria. He won the first place in the youth category championship for the weight of 80 kg in 2004, to stop participating in the following year for several years, to return in 2009 with strong participation in which he achieved first place in the championships of the Republic And Aleppo championships within the weight of 75 and 80 kg, to follow after several
Class A training and arbitration courses and to win the gold of the Asian Championship that took place in Lebanon in 2010.
In his interview with SANA, Ghayath explained that he conducted several training camps in Aleppo with the aim of developing his level and recording new numbers that qualify him to participate in international championships, within a specific time-trained plan.
In sports, achievement cannot come from a void, a wisdom that Ghayath always stresses. The athlete, according to his description, puts the goal in front of his eyes and begins the journey of preparation to reach the goal. For him, he is still making every effort to prepare with all his capabilities to achieve his goal of being crowned in the next world championship.
