Rottach-Egern
- The protest rally of the Greens local association Tegernseer Tal should take place on Wednesday, March 2nd.
From the Popperwiese, the participants want to move in front of the villa of the Russian oligarch Alisher Usmanow - the billionaire is considered a close confidant of Russia's ruler Putin and has temporarily lived in the magnificent villa on the Schorn since 2014.
"Oligarchs like Usmanov are part of the Russian regime - such people must feel that they are no longer welcome in our town because they are in common cause with war criminal Putin," explains Thomas Tomaschek, spokesman for the local Green Party.
All residents of the Tegernsee Valley are called upon to "take a stand against supporters of the Russian government and its inhuman war in Ukraine," according to a press release.
This attitude should be expressed with posters and short speeches.
