"It is projected that it could cost more than $1 billion to aid in Ukraine, and about $600 million in neighboring countries," said Sean Callahan, president and CEO of Catholic Charities (Catholic Relief Services).
Callahan's statements come after the UN estimated that more than 4 million Ukrainian refugees could need protection and assistance in neighboring nations during the coming months due to the Russian invasion.
