A source in the United Nations announced that there are currently no discussions in the international organization about sending “peacekeeping” forces to Ukraine.
The source told “Sputnik” today that “there are no discussions in the UN Security Council about sending peacekeeping forces to Ukraine” against the background of the Russian special military operation to protect the residents of Donbass.
The office of the Secretary-General of the United Nations commented on Kyiv's calls to send peacekeeping forces to Ukraine by saying that "it is up to the UN Security Council to decide."
