Program change in the ARD: special program on the situation in Ukraine
Due to the war in Ukraine, those responsible at ARD have decided to show a different format at 8:15 p.m.
"We help - together for Ukraine" is about the current situation in Ukraine.
Moderator Ingo Zamperoni will speak to those affected and encourage TV viewers to donate.
ARD program director Christine Strobl explains in a statement: "If war is waged against Ukraine, we cannot celebrate the Eurovision Song Contest and friendship in Europe at the same time without taking a clear position.
This evening, solidarity with Ukraine and helping the people there must come first.”

"Germany 12 Points - the German ESC preliminary decision" follows immediately after the special broadcast. Instead of 8:15 p.m., the German preliminary round will start at 9:00 p.m.
Nico Suave and Team Liebe, Felicia Lu from Vienna by choice, 24-year-old Malik Harris and the duo Maël and Jonas all want to win the evening.
The winner secures a ticket for the ESC, which takes place in Turin in 2022 after last year's victory of Måneskin.
