The Donetsk People's Republic announced that two civilians were killed when Ukrainian extremist nationalists opened fire on a convoy of displaced people from the city of Mariupol today.
Donetsk police indicated that the soldiers of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Russian forces ensured a safe exit from the city for about 150 people.
The republic's authorities had said earlier that the militants of the Ukrainian (Azov) battalion do not allow civilians in Mariupol to exit through the humanitarian corridors, and they are using human shields as well as laying mines in the area.
