Retired Colonel Douglas McGregor, former advisor to the US Secretary of Defense, criticized the use of the regime forces in Kyiv by the tactics of terrorists in the Middle East and their use of civilians as human shields, stressing that the defeat of these forces by the Russian army will be inevitable.
The Russia Today website quoted McGregor as saying in statements to Fox Business TV that the Russian forces operating in Ukraine are keen to act as accurately as possible to reduce losses, after the soldiers of the Ukrainian regime resorted to hiding among the population.
MacGregor pointed out that Russia's insistence on the neutrality of the Ukrainian state is a legitimate matter, expressing his conviction that this also suits the interests of the United States, as this country will become a kind of buffer zone between Washington and Moscow.
