TSG 1899 Hoffenheim is back in the Bundesliga with a place in the Champions League.
Coach Sebastian Hoeneß's team drew 1-0 (0-0) at 1. FC Köln on Sunday evening and moved up to fourth place in the table with their fourth win in a row.
Cologne stayed eighth and suffered a setback in the race for a place in Europe in front of 37,500 spectators.
Cologne – In the 61st minute, Stefan Posch used one of Hoffenheim's many chances to score the decisive goal.
In the final phase, however, the hosts missed several chances to equalize.
