The Russian Defense Ministry announced a ceasefire and the provision of humanitarian corridors in several Ukrainian cities, starting tomorrow, so that civilians can exit through humanitarian corridors.
"The Russian side announces a ceasefire, starting at 10 am on the eighth of this month, and is ready to open humanitarian corridors from Kyiv, Chernigova, Sumy, Kharkov and Mariupol," the Russian TASS news agency quoted the ministry as saying.
The ministry added that "without the participation of Ukraine, the Russian side has so far managed to expel 173,773 people from the areas of the special military operation from the Lugansk and Donetsk People's Republics to the territory of Russia, including 18,744 children."
The Russian Defense Ministry had warned earlier that the regime in Kyiv was using the tactic of terrorists by shooting at civilians who were trying to leave their homes and reach humanitarian corridors.
