An alleged FSB secret document is making the rounds, which is said to predict an imminent military fiasco for Russia in the Ukraine war.

Another report comes to a different conclusion.

Munich/Brussels/Kyiv – According to Ukrainian information, thousands of soldiers have already fallen on the Russian side in the Ukraine war*.

A huge military convoy has come to a standstill north of Kyiv and is apparently not really making any headway.

Has Moscow's ruler Vladimir Putin underestimated his opponent?

As of Monday (March 7), two reports come to completely different conclusions.

Russian defeat in the Ukraine war?

Alleged secret service report causes a stir

Report number one:

An excerpt from an alleged secret report by the Russian FSB on the Russia-Ukraine conflict* is currently circulating on the Internet.

In an analysis, an alleged employee of the Russian secret service is said to have come to the conclusion that the Russian troops had attacked their eastern neighbor without a plan.

Among other things, ZDF journalist Wulf Schmiese, editor-in-chief of the "heute journal", shared a tweet by Twitter blogger Igor Sushko.

He quotes from the alleged secret report, which the news

portals t-online

and

ntv.de

also refer to in their reports on the Ukraine war.

As a result, even the Russian secret service is said to have been taken by surprise.

You can read about hypotheses.

"But then it turns out that the hypothesis has become reality, and the analysis we have performed on it is total rubbish," the translation of the alleged report is quoted as saying: "We're in shit up to our necks." Also there is talk of a “total failure”.

For classification: Like a lot of other information on social media and on the Internet, the said letter cannot be properly verified and checked.

Nevertheless, the tweet immediately brought several political commentators to the scene.

For example Luke Harding, the

Guardian

's longtime Moscow correspondent , who wrote on Twitter: "If this is real, it is a scathing indictment by an FSB insider about Russia's catastrophic war in Ukraine." Short message service: "Should that be authentic, then Putin has gambled away!

Sounds plausible, confirms some assumptions made by the military experts we interviewed in today's journal.

Only: Why would an FSB official reveal that?

Wishful thinking of those attacked?

Propaganda?

In any case, to be observed.”

Ukraine War: Rapid Russia Victory?

NATO expects alleged fall of Kyiv

Report number two:

There is also a report by the news portal

Business Insider

that predicts a completely different scenario.

The report relies on alleged information from an internal NATO situation assessment.

Accordingly, the transatlantic defense alliance assumes that Russia could conquer large parts of Ukraine within the coming week.

The capital Kyiv with its 2.8 million inhabitants would also fall.

The only exception would be the city of Lviv, also known as Lemberg, in the extreme west of Ukraine - with more than 700,000 inhabitants.

Who is correct?

In the video: Compact - The news about the Ukraine war and the invasion of Russia

On Sunday evening, the German NATO General a.

D. Egon Ramms: "Russia can only stop itself." The 73-year-old ex-Bundeswehr commander put it into perspective: "I am still convinced that Ukraine, the people and the armed forces, can win this war.

I believe that Russia has completely misjudged the will to fight and the morale of the Ukrainian population and Ukrainian soldiers.” The coming days will provide more information about the bloody conflict...
